Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These services are provided by 广州天禧游信息科技有限公司 (Guangzhou Tianxiyou Information Technology Co., Ltd.), Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@factoryfinding.com or on WhatsApp at +86 189 2212 3034.

2. The services and the fees

Both fees are fixed and quoted in advance. They are not commissions and they do not vary with the outcome.

2.1 Factory Verification (US$300 per factory)

We visit the physical address you give us and report what we observe. The deliverable normally comprises:

• an on-site visit to the stated address, and a check of whether the business licence details match the premises we entered;
• photographs with intact capture time and location data;
• a continuous, unedited walk-through video of the site as we found it;
• a written report of roughly five to ten pages, including a plain-language verdict and any red flags;
• copies of the documents we were shown and extracts from the public company register.

Typical turnaround is 2 to 4 working days from confirmation, depending on location.

2.2 Factory Finding (US$1,000 per brief)

Working from a reference sample, image, drawing or written description that you provide, we identify and screen manufacturers. The deliverable normally comprises:

• a shortlist of two manufacturers that are able to produce the item and are willing to quote and make a sample;
• verified licence details, photographs and walk-through video for each;
• a capability report covering in-house processes, capacity signals and who they already supply;
• contact details for a decision-maker at each factory, so that you deal with the factory directly.

Typical turnaround is 5 to 10 working days. See clause 5 for the refund condition attached to this service.

3. How an engagement starts, and payment

1. You contact us with what you have.
2. We reply with what can realistically be verified, the timeline and the exact fee.
3. We agree the scope in writing (email or WhatsApp is sufficient).
4. We send payment details. The fee is settled in one payment after you approve the scope, and before we travel.
5. We carry out the work and deliver the file.

Nothing is payable on our website. There is no checkout and no card form. We never ask for payment to a personal account, through a messaging app, or by a link in an unsolicited message. If you receive such a request purporting to come from us, do not pay it and contact us first using the details on this page.

Fees are quoted and payable in US dollars by international bank transfer or an agreed business payment service. Charges raised by your own bank or payment provider are not included in the fee.

4. What we do not do

Our engagement begins and ends with verified facts and the report. We do not, and will not:

• guarantee, warrant or take responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, conformity or fitness of any product;
• negotiate, set, guarantee or advise on price, MOQ, tooling cost or payment terms;
• act as your buying agent, trading company, import/export agent or representative;
• handle logistics, shipping, customs, warehousing or insurance;
• supervise production, inspect goods, chase orders or mediate disputes after you place one;
• accept any commission, rebate, kickback or percentage from any factory, at any time, for any reason.

We have no part in the contract you enter into with a factory. That contract is between you and them, and its terms, performance and enforcement are entirely your responsibility.

5. Refunds

5.1 Factory Finding (US$1,000)

If we cannot present two manufacturers that meet the written criteria we agreed with you before starting — namely that each is a genuine manufacturer able to produce your item and willing to quote and make a sample — we refund the service fee in full. To keep this unambiguous, the criteria are recorded in writing before payment.

5.2 Factory Verification (US$300)

If we are unable to carry out the visit at all — for example because the address does not exist, access is refused, or the location is outside the region we agreed — we will tell you and refund the fee, less any travel already incurred and agreed with you in advance.

5.3 What is not refundable

Once the visit has been carried out and the report delivered, the fee is earned, whatever the report concludes. In particular, no refund is due because:

• the report found that a supplier is a trading company, an intermediary, or something other than a manufacturer;
• the report identified red flags, or fewer capabilities than you hoped for;
• you decided not to proceed with the factory, or the factory declined to work with you;
• the factory later changed its prices, terms, capacity or ownership;
• you are dissatisfied with the commercial outcome of dealing with the factory.

A finding you did not want is a successful result of this service, not a failure of it. That is the entire purpose of paying for independent verification before money moves.

6. Findings, judgement and limits of our work

We report what we observe on the day of the visit, together with documents we are shown and public register information. Our findings are accurate to the best of our knowledge and belief at that time, but:

• a visit records a point in time. Factories change ownership, premises, equipment and staff;
• we are shown what we are shown. We do not dismantle machinery, audit books, or test products;
• we cannot detect every form of deception. Where we were unable to confirm something, the report says so;
• our assessment of capability is an informed opinion based on the visit, not a guarantee of performance;
• statements by factory personnel are reported as what we were told, not as verified fact.

You remain responsible for your own commercial decisions, for your own due diligence, and for any contract you sign.

7. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information, including the exact address you want visited — the one that would appear on your contract and your bank transfer.
• Make sure you are entitled to pass us any third-party information you send.
• Do not use the reports for anything unlawful.
• Pay the agreed fee before we travel.

8. Confidentiality

We treat your identity, your product information and your supplier details as confidential. We do not publish your name, and we do not name your supplier in any public material. Case material shown on our website is redacted, with faces, client names and supplier identities withheld. Where a factory must be told that someone is visiting on behalf of a client, we disclose only what is necessary. This obligation continues after the engagement ends and is subject only to disclosure required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an engagement is limited to the fee you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from your dealings with any factory. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Delays and events outside our control

We are not in breach if performance is delayed by events outside our reasonable control, including travel disruption, weather, public holidays, industrial action, government action, epidemics, or the closure or refusal of access at a site. We will tell you promptly and agree a revised timeline.

11. Changes to the services

We may add, change or withdraw services and prices at any time. The fee, scope and terms that apply to your engagement are those agreed in writing with you before we start.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith discussion. If that fails, the courts of Guangzhou, Guangdong, China have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you locally.
